We work in partnership with other well established Companies to incorprate specialist paving and stone materials, utilising our experience, knowledge and well trained workforce to safely produce the highest quality finish.

Visit to Strabag's Training Academy in Linz
Steintec invites Masterlay and Sector Scheme committee to an open day on Monday 14th March 2012.
Strabag is the largest contractor in Austria and their Training Academy in Linz is the most prominent one. Steintec has a been dominating the European market for many years and work closely alongside Strabag to maintain the quality and longevity of Paving installed. The sole purpose of this trip was to demonstrate the training process The Master Pavers have to undergo in order to be qualified to install paving that has to withstand the harshest of elements, from the extreme winter freezes to hot summers. The Training facility operates in winter and then closes for the Masters and students to return to work for the warmer months. Masterlay was extremely lucky to have the rare opportunity to witness the formal 'open day' which is a celebration with the graduating students 'masterpieces' on show. This really demonstrated the pride, dedication and perfection that can be achieved when training is implemented at such a high level. It was inspirational to observe and educational to even the most knowledgeable of craftsmen who witnessed the event. Thank you David Burton Technical Director of Steintec for the one of the most valuable events Masterlay would bear witness to.

We are currently working on Jubilee Gardens which is situated adjacent to the London Eye. This project has been 15 years in planning and development and is a gift from the City of London to Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth in celebration of her Golden Jubilee . We are immensely proud to be a part of this uniquely historic project.

Laid in 60mm-300mm thick dark grey and white granite paving kerbs, seating blocks, laid onto Steintec bedding tuff bond slurry and Steintec grout. Streetworks resin bonding and form work. Extremely high specification, for a stunning development.

Work consisted of 1300m2 of brick on edge, some 85,000 bricks were individually hand laid to maintain lines. Sawn tooth edging was laid to the edge of the pathways.
